Because Euron isn't going to look kindly on him for any number of reasons, being a claimant to the throne regardless of his aptitude for the job, being a colossal fuck up, being a eunuch, traveling with a Stark (you know the guys that invaded them and they in turn invaded), and he's just in general an unpleasant fellow.

Euron most definitely is

He claims that it was the Lord of Light, but maybe the Lord of Light doesn't exist and it was all him. All this stuff started happening after Dany's dragons were born. Dragons are suppose to be magical creatures, and the Warlocks of Qarth found that their magical abilities had come back sometime after the dragons hatched. Pyat Pree even states that being near Dany's dragons makes their magic more powerful. Thoros believes that it was the Lord of Light that resurrected his friend, but it could just as easily been that he has that ability.

Well, that's kind of a shame. I wonder what role Sam will play in all this. I was hoping he would learn how to manufacture Valyrian steel in situ or something. Season 6 is looking to be pretty exciting.

Yeah, ever since he got all huffy w/ Jon Snow, he's been getting on my nerves. Maybe even since he killed Ygritte and then gave Jon a nod. Maybe Jon will banish Olly to a remote outpost on the Wall to man all by his lonesome.

Also, in that last scene, the part leading up to his murder, and I can say this w/ little hindsight bias, but it struck me as odd that Olly was chipper towards Jon, b/c Benjen, a man Olly had never met, had returned. I didn't know or even suspect what was gonna happen next, but I found his improved disposition towards Jon odd, and maybe Jon should've exercised more caution.

If you watch the "battle" vs Mance Rayder. Where Stannis defeats a wildling army of 100 000 men (on the show ts 8 guys chopping wood in the forest) he has a significant amount of horses.

Arya added Mel to the list because she went off with Gendry.

I think I can get behind that idea. Some sort of force working behind the scenes. I'm sure that the Seven don't actually exists, though.

Maybe his followers have come up w/ their own way of worshiping him. If his followers are burning people to death, like Aztecs cutting the still-beating heart out of a person to appease their gods, it seems like it could just has likely could've been something that R'hollor's followers have come up w/. Maybe he doesn't approve of human sacrifices, but doesn't really care either way.

So, basically, Sam's is on a quest for the Master Sword or for some dreamstone. Euron?

The Lord of Light being Bloodraven is strongly hinted at in the last 2 books.

1. Melisandre feels stronger when closer to the wall (closer to Bloodraven).
2. She sees the Lord of Light more clearly in the flames when she is up there.
3. The face she sees, when contacting the lord of light is a "wooden face" with a birthmark on its cheek.
4. There is also a howling wolf next to him (Bran).
5. Arya sees the same thing when spying on the Red Priests.

There is only 1 parson with a birthmark like that, and that is Bloodraven.


And here is the Euron bit


-The Undying tell Dany she will meet 3 men; one to love (Drogo), one to bed (Hizdahr) and one to dread (Daario/Euron). This third man is said to have blue or grey lips just like Euron.
Dario is Euron Greyjoy and here is why

-Daario is never around during the times when we see Euron, and vice versa.

-Daario lead the Storm Crows, Euron's nickname is the Crow's Eye and one of his quotes is "I am the storm my lord, the first storm and the last."

-The prow of Euron's ship looks very similar to the hilt of Daario's blade.

-The new show Daario has a striking resemblance to book Euron.

-The new show Daario's actor is 33 years old. Euron in the books is 33 years old.

-Euron seems VERY confident that Dany will marry her, and wants her to.

-Daario wants Dany to love him, for some reason (even though they didn't know each other for that long).

-Daario captured 93 Meereenese ships on the show, the same amount of ships Euron told Victarion to take with him to take Meereen.

-Daario gave Dany a poisoned flower in the Season 4 premiere as a gift. In the books it is said Euron's gifts are poisoned.

-Euron has traveled through Essos before and knows the ins and outs as well as the culture.

-Euron has blue lips, Daario has a blue beard.

-The name Euron comes from a Welsh word that means 'gold.' Daario\Dario is a Latin\Italian name that means 'rich.' Dany will be betrayed once for "gold".

Judging by what we saw on the show Stannis had loads of horses. Simple as that.

Melisandre bought Gendry and basically kidnapped him. He had no choice in the matter. That is what set Arya off.

She ended up on the list, and a few episodes later, she was removed from the list due to the writers forgetting about it. You can add it to a long growng list of plotpoints the writers just forget about.

Yeah I mentioned that a few pages back. I'm glad they're including Jaime's Riverlands arc after all. I'd have preferred it in S5 really, but better late than never.

And fear not, for David Bradley (Walder Frey's actor) confirmed recently that he's returning to the show... at least until Arya stabs prickly old Walder in the heart with Needle, since she's also heading to the Riverlands this season.
