It's fairly obvious that many politicians are in bed with big corporate and are willing to do whatever it takes for them to have control. The TPP is just another step in the plan of having people's freedoms eroded away and governmental power stripped.

Yep. That figures. The obvious course of action would be to pass a law limiting the amount of money a single person can donate and eliminating super PACs. Government is suppose to work for the people, not big businesses. That's how you get shitty trade deals that are negotiators in secret by corporate lobbyists.

I'm a little curious. Obama supports the TPP, b/c among other reasons, he says that it will keep China in check in the region. But the TPP is little more than a corporate handjob that would allow corporations to challenge any countries' laws that they feel hurts their profits. Given that China has neck-deep in a crony capitalist society whete the CPC is in bed w/ Chinese corporations, wouldn't this trade agreement end up empowering China within that region?
