... Also Twilight gets worse the more you get into it with its themes. Agreed. I made it through the first two books, couldn't bring myself to read any further. While not my type of read from the start (read it to know what the hype was about), I could understand the appeal it would have on the masses (especially girls), since it follows some very classic stereotypes: clumsy girl who sees herself as nothing special (but happens in the eyes of others to be very attractive) attracts the attentions of the overly-sexy-but-entirely-unreachable-for-other-females guy. Put a little tension in there in form of the almost-as-attractive rebel who contends for her affections with dude no. 1 and you have yourself the classic teenage love triangle. Which can only go one way, though, since the rebel always loses when there is a beautiful man and undying love involved. SO MANY EMOTIONS, it makes it difficult to breathe. :[ Glad I could put that behind me : Picked up Andrzej Sapkowski's 'Blood of Elves' a couple of days ago. Never read any of his works, so I'm curious to see how the Witcher games actually relate to the books.
