13 Hours The gripping tale of the CIA Annex's GRS security contractors' response to the attack on the US Mission to Benghazi, and their defense of the CIA Annex during the subsequent attack on it by militants. As one would expect, it provides more details of the attack than the movie, but also contains a short chapter of the history of Benghazi and its relationship to Tripoli and the US, which gives some much needed context. Its a decent read that describes the chaos, confusion, frustration, and creeping paranoia of dealing with a progressively escalating hostile situation, while working as part of a clandestine operation within a failing state, where one does not speak the local language, and judgements on whether to start a firefight depend on whether the armed stranger in front of you behaves in a hostile manner.
