It's not impossible, certainly, but that might push an indecisive and conflicted Jon to take action. Ah, who am I kidding, we all know he's gonna kill Dany in the last episode!

I've been thinking about a few things.

Jaime and Brienne should have never gotten together. I get that there was a sense of attraction between the characters but I think their bond really went beyond that and it's a bit undercut by them hooking up. They brought out the best in each other as knights, and the sense of trust and honor the two formed with each other was something special. The thing is they're both characters that had a sense of honor that was almost unrealistic in the world. Brienne being a female noble striving to be a knight, and actually managing through incredible determination to defy all the odds, and then Jaime who's father couldn't care less about honor and who's very name was dragged through the dust beyond repair still being enamored with the idea of being a knight who accomplishes many great deeds and still being drawn to that ideas of a knights honor. They both thought little of each other when they first met but it was through seeing those shreds of honor and sacrifice they were both willing to make that they became close. It was because of their deeds and honor that they both saw who the other person truly was and came to truly respect each other and view each others as equals.


It may be an unintentional oversight but in a way it's actually brilliant that Jaime had his hand grow back in his final scene. Him losing that hand sent him on such a wonderful and unique redemption arc and it's truly fitting and symbolic even that he'd have it back as he turns his back on all of that and instead decides to embrace the man he was back before he had lost it.
