Liquor is better

I work around wine everyday, and I really do love it. But afterwards, all I really want is a good cocktail.

One of my favorite cocktails is called the Blushing Geisha. It's made with vodka and lychee puree.

I also love peach bellinis (properly made with white peach), the classic french 75, rose and rye, and the Last Word (ideally with green chartreuse and a splash of Absinthe).

My favorite liqueurs and spirits are often licoricey ones, like Absinthe, Fernet Branca, or Anisette.

Tried this once. It's like, if Guinness decided not to suck, and was put in a stupid looking bottle.

It's okay to like charcoal flavored beer, man. To each his own lol.

I love me some Dogfish Head.  My husband went to law school with a girl who now serves as their in house council.  Every alumni event is well stocked and we always come home with new awesome beer.
I highly recommend the American Beauty, and Red & White, and Jihau.  But mostly American Beauty.  So much deliciousness.

I don't know what a River Horse is (except obviously a hippopotamus - and I have a funny SLP story about that), but it sounds like it's awesome.

So, because of a couple ... unfortunate recent events, I am cutting my drinking WAY back. One drink a day, a few days a week. This shit is getting outta hand. Too much stout/Scotch every goddamn night. I am a lush & I need to re-assess my level of self-respect. My little brother has been sober one year yesterday, I need to follow his example of discipline & integrity. (He was one of the worst alcoholics I've ever known)

Seriously though, I had one of those moments where I woke up and was like "Yo, I need to choose a less destructive path."  And I quit drinking for two weeks. Then I was like "This sucks. I need some burrrrrbuuuun."

And here I am.

It's only a 'problem' if you either:

A: Abuse your spouse/children.

B: Kill someone.
