The ATF harassment is one of the untold stories of this bullshit gun hating culture that some politicians try to cultivate. I could buy fully automatic rifles and explosives off some fucking truck from Mexico, and yet because I get it legally I get the great pleasure of having assholes bang on my door at 5 am every other month?

I'm looking at a l115a3 AWM from AI it might suit your needs, its a long range rifle that can be chambered for .300 Winchester but its a bit behind your 1500 yards requirement for accurate on point firing. Still it will suit my needs quite nicely, especially considering its a convertible frame so it basically begs to be modified and improved.

I've thought about applying for my 03 FFL, so I can have more glorious Mosin Nagants shipped to my door, and build that SBR (now legal in IL with C&R license) but I'd prefer not to deal with them for that reason alone. I doubt they'd bother me on the same level as a class III license holder, but still.

Sorry, I meant 1200 yard range. 1500 is .338 Lapua Magnums which run about $8 dollar a round.

I'm in a rather urban area, and there's not a lot of places to go. I doubt I'd be able to hit much at 1500 yards with any of my rifles anyways... even thoughh the Mosin rear sight adjusts to about 2000 lmao. What the hell were they thinking there? My commie weapons have what you'd call 'good enough' levels of accuracy.

Hitting a man-sized target at ranges of 400 meters or less with an AK is more than enough if you're talking about combat kinda stuff. The commies needed cheap, reliable, and easy-to-use weapons for the masses, and that's exactly what they ended up with.
