The only real gripe I had with mine, was the shells eject straight down and into your forearm lol. As for the dudes shooting their hands off... sounds like user error to me. They really should have came with a handstop from the factory, but I managed to not blow my hand off by using common sense, so there's that.


I got lucky and won mine in a raffle, so I don't exactly have any buyer's remorse.  I should trade it for a Saiga while they're still relatively scarce.

Well I look at this way personally,building/indoor fighting and or firefights are not like in the movies. You will need to acquire and engage within handful of seconds, maybe half a minute if they haven't a good idea where you are, and if you are alone that timeframe is iffy at best, if you have backup you can proceed according to standard indoor SOP which is to have neutralized as much of the hostilities inside before entry, but that's tricky when its your own home and they are breaching.


Best option in that scenario is to hold back near an internal wall with no exposed windows and take cover, if they enter the room, you engage, presenting as little of yourself as possible while doing so.


In this scenario weapon selection truly on matters in the facets of ease of use, speed of use and lethality (which really shouldn't be a problem given nearly all firearms are lethal if properly used) But yeah, the objective of securing the home against invaders is neutralization of all hostiles as quickly as possible, if they are alone great but if they have friends outside you could be in a world of hurt going out there, SOP for urban warfare is to ALWAYS assume more hostiles.

So yeah, hold up, sit tight, arm yourself, prepare to defend yourself if your location is breached, get the authorities on the horn if you can and protect yourself with whatever measures are necessary. My life is always going to be more important to me then some thief trying to steal my shit.

Yeah, that is a bit of an issue. They're still out there, though.

Same with Vepr rifles. I picked one up in 7.62x54r after hearing rumors of coming sanctions. It was either that or an M1 Garand, but I figured the M1s will be available for a long time.

The Vepr is like, the Cadillac of AK rifles. It's the most expensive rifle I have ever bought at about $900, but it was soooo worth it.

Never been into ARs much, but I have an 80% lower laying around in case I feel the need. I'll probably pick up another AK in 5.56 or 5.45 if I decide to go with a smaller caliber. 7.62 is so much fun, though.

Yeah, going all Rambo won't end well because you are just one guy. The problem is where I live it takes Police 20 minutes to get here, so I'll have to do something, the good thing is my sleeping room door is massive steel and my guns safe is right next to my bed. 
So I should be pretty safe unless I do something very stupid. 


And its a shame no Russian guns are important anymore, the shotgun I just posted is a Russian one (Baikal), one of the last. 

The only rifle I own is an AR with a 1/7 twist barrel, so I reach targets 700 yards out with my .77g bullets.

Man, if I lived in the USA I'd spend my entire money on guns because I bet Hillary is going to win. And we know what that old confused hag is capable of. I feel so sorry for you guys. 

The gun I want to buy is something can that chamber a .300 winmag, so I can reach targets 1500 yards out instead.

Tell an American they can't have something, and they're going to want it even more lol. I think we'll be alright. There are more NRA members, and second amendment supporters now than there ever was before.

Hell, after the big calls for gun control in '12 and '13, people who never had any interest in an AR-15 went out and bought one. That drove prices up, and caused a bit of an ammo shortage, but something about thousands and thousands of well-armed Americans makes me feel all tingly inside lol. It's like a giant 'fuck you' to government regulations, which is more or less the whole point of America if you think about it.

By trumpeting more gun control, our president managed to sell more guns than anyone else in history lmao.

Also proves that "90% of Americans support gun control." stat that's been floating around dead wrong. Yeah, okay, so you polled ten democrats from California, and 90% wanted more restrictions.

Hell, even the Democrats in central Illinois are pro-gun.
