Ness and there is something cathartic just killing things.

Especially when you've got a Yorkshirite complaining about getting grabbed by lizard puppers. It also has that very satisfying moment when you manage to pull off an extraction by the skin of your teeth AKA every gold match so far with us.

It's something you need to do with at least one friend or someone special if they can game.

In regards to ME3; it was the only way I could play as a krogan, which I wanted to do since ME1. You'd think I would probably get bored of shoulder tackling and headbutting enemies to death repeatedly but I didn't.
Don't know about MEA. Haven't bought it and probably won't for a while if at all.

Good.

For me I care less about strong combat/gameplay and care more about strong story(though of course a balance of both is optimal). Thats where Andromeda, at least from the little I've seen, is losing me.

People have pointed out dialogue sometimes being cheesy in the original trilogy but back then I always chalked it up to "sometimes someone says something cheesy". Like I could forgive it because I know people to say stuff like that.

But from certain excerpts of dialogue in this game, it goes past what I can look over. It feels less like, "someone said something cheesy" and more, "a writer wrote this deliberately" which takes me out of the experience.

I don't know. Its just a feeling. Like no one actually talks like that ever so why are they acting so artificial. Or why is someone in a position like that acting so childlike. Puts me off, that.

I wouldn't say it's horde mode per se, rather each match is a combination of modes. Yes, you have several waves that are basically horde mode but you also get a Hacking mode where you need to defend an objective, or in ME3 you had an Escort mode or a CTF mode, and all the while enemies are coming at you. I enjoy it because it makes people work together towards a common goal unlike most MP games out there.

Well, remember that the Mass Effect games are, first and foremost, single player games. Multiplayer is an add-on that's not meant to compete with games like CoD, Battlefield, or Overwatch. God knows I wouldn't play MP in any of those games. Maybe Titanfall.

It's not good.
You can almost see the people working on it ticking boxes.
They reused stuff from DAI, basically the carcass is DAI . The premise for the somewhat open world is better because the story somewhat give you a good reason to be on those world but midway through it kind of give you a reason to not bother....
They tried to make better side quests compared to DAI but failed because it's simply boring, and on top of it ...it's like nothing is user friendly.
You've seen one world you've seen them all, you'll be doing the same thing overall everywhere.

Worldbuilding sucks something fierce as well, the new aliens are boring, the new bad aliens are also meh , and the mysterious alien race can be sum up by Sudoku puzzles.
I didn't finish the game because at one point it felt like torture, but from what I've gathered you see a glimpse of interesting things towards the end about several things but basically it's all sequel baits.
Companions are several level of uninspired as well.
But don't you worry the "Citadel" and " Let's Bang' boxes have been ticked as well, so there is quality time with companions you may not care about and the sex scene are really well animated and lit properly. Unlike the rest of the game.

Also there is no coherent structure to the game , at around 40/45 hours suddenly everyone and their mothers had quests for me ...And I can totally see how you can get 100 hours on this game, you're send all over the place and you have big maps and you're forced to use the not!Mako , there's one planet where there's like 3 loading screen to suffer because there is a small town , and the galaxy map is super slow.

This game badly needs patches and well it's far too late now to be structured and edited properly.
If you've already played DA and ME games there's absolutly nothing to see here writing wise , it's all be said and done before and it's just soulless.

Some thing are going to be patched no doubt , and making the whole experience more user friendly would go a long way.
But the uninspired writing is not getting fixed anytime soon.
