This is intended to serve as a mega post on Tyranny which contains all major news relating to it. I plan to update this post regularly (so about 2 more weeks) up until launch. My sole purpose in doing this is to try to inform people about the, in my opinion, severely under-marketed game that is
Tyranny.
Premise: Sometimes, Evil Wins. Experience the new world order under the Overlord in a reactive role-playing game (RPG), interacting with the populace as a powerful Fatebinder in the Overlord’s forces -- roaming the lands to inspire loyalty or fear as they bring control to the last holdouts of the Tiers.

General Information about the game:
*Unlockable strongholds with customization options are in
*Crafting potions, poisons, weapons, and armor is in
*All Weapons and Armors may be upgraded and carried from the beginning to endgame and be viable. It will cost a lot of in game currency to achieve this however.
*There are 4 differing branches/main quest-lines that one can undertake (1 per playthrough) with tons of side quests, choices, and content that are unique to them.
*The main storyline takes 20-25 hours to beat, however, it is possible to hit over 100 hours by doing all the side quests (this was done to add replay value).
*There is no class system. You can use whatever weapons or armor you pick up throughout the game and level them up, regardless of your starting specialization.
*There are artifacts that grant unique abilities (think Excalibur).
*Your companions will level with you regardless of them being in your party or not (this was done so that companions would always be useful).
*Companions have some abilities that only they can obtain and use.
*Skills level up the more you use them (this includes weapon skills).
*Scaring someone away during a conversation check will net you the same amount of experience as you would earn from killing them in combat; that experience is divided among your top 3 most used skills.
*People scared away that have unique loot will have their loot placed in a nearby chest or container so that players don't miss out on it (or aren't punished for using a viable option).
*In regards to there being a time limit on the game (not a spoiler, really, but tagging it for those that don't want to know if the time limit is permanent or not),
A time limit is only in effect for the first act and the time limit may be effected by the difficulty (I can't remember for certain about the difficult effecting the time limit and will have to confirm).
