It was quite good. I don't remember much of S2, but S3 reminds me a lot of S1, in no small part thanks to Wilson Fisk's return. D'Onofrio has truly turned him into a smart and terrifying character that has a penchant for manipulating people into doing what he wants. If S3 has any flaws, it might have to do with just how many people Fisk has seemingly gotten to: too many and, at the same time, not enough. This stretches credibility somewhat, but I am reminded of The Untouchables and Eliot Ness' own plight trying to bring down Al Capone. It's a shame Charlie Cox doesn't don the Daredevil outfit this time around, even if it is explained. Karen and Foggy both contribute more than they probably did in The Defenders, maybe even S2. Are there political undertones in S3? Sure, issues like a free press, bribery/corruption in the government, are present throughout, but I personally didn't feel like they were pandering... beyond maybe a couple of speeches. A strong season overall, even if it's a bit dark, but we are talking Daredevil after all. PS: D'Onofrio should appear in a Spiderman movie, he's such a good villain.
