I don't know about it yet and am leary of it. I kind of think everything marked "Anthology" might suck while the main films will be great. One rumor is that the female lead character who sets out to steal the Death Star Plans is Fett's daughter :/

That's what worries me, I fear it will become a tangled mess. I'm also not enthusiastic about the Han Solo film, only Harrison Ford should play Han Solo (and Indiana Jones).

They should have a character called Many Bothans, then the phrase "Many Bothans died to bring us this information" would take on a whole new meaning.

The cast list. 1 black, 1 latino, 1 asian, 1 white etc. Seems to be the norm these days. Make sure nobody feels "left out" and get get offended by it.

And this is Star Wars. I takes place nowhere near Earth at all. If they want diversity they have hundreds of alien races to pick from. Wookies, Bothans + + + + . Various alien races should be more interesting to flesh out than humans, in any case. What they are doing here is just being PC for the sake of the moviegoers. A diverse cast is superb. But this cast isn't diverse at all. 1 race out of a hundred races (in the star wars universe) is represented.

I apologize if I came across as a hater or movie basher, I'm just cautious of the film based on what little we know. Though I suppose that "what little we know" is the key here, isn't it? I'm just worried about the films not being cohesive with each other or the lore, I think it's going to get to the point to where the anthology films should be approached if you are a fan of the director, because there are going to be so many directors doing it and they'll have different styles and focus for their stories. I've also never been a fan of origin stories, I've always felt that is the lazy way to go, I'd rather have things left to my imagination and get sequels or fully original stories instead.

I use the novels as an analogy; yes there were some turds (K.Traviss), but there were SO MANY cool characters & great arcs. Maybe there will be a few Zach Snyder types, too worried about aesthetics and not concerned enough with plot/story. Yes, of course some of the new films will be a letdown.

But -- there are going to be great ones. We simply have to wait & see...
