The how i up and running now. I thought it would suck, personally. But it doesn't. Two episodes in and I am loving it. It cheesy and charming, and damn entertaining.
I have and I agree they are doing a good job. The pacing is very good as the two episodes have never felt like they were dragging and they have a good blend of humour and serious tones. Plus giving just enough teases to keep you coming back. If they keep this up they should get second season approval easily, which means that it could end up crossing over with other DC shows like Arrow and The Flash.
Supergirl was mentioned in one of the new Flash episodes too, actually. So the crossover is coming for sure.
Ya, I think they just want to make sure that Supergirl gets more than a season before they did anything. At least Constantine is getting a little more screen time on Arrow.
Having said that, episode 2 was better. However, I do believe they squandered a lot of potential by having Kara side against her aunt right off the bat. I mean, she's still her family, it'd make more sense if she had a hard time fighting her. At least ask her what she means by saving Earth, give her the benefit of the doubt somewhat. This also means that idea #572 on my list where her aunt teaches Kara how to control her abilities is never going to happen.

Pilot was good should be interesting to what they do with the upcoming episodes.
Did the pilot change from what was posted on YouTube this summer? Because I couldn't make it fifteen minutes through that thing even as a joke.
It didn't.

She looks best in the comics. New 52 Supergirl = Best Supergirl.
Since she clocks dudes in the face and became a Red Lantern at one point. Smallville's too busy strutting around in a bikini for that. JL is too busy looking like a little girl and hooking up with robots. And Series is too boring and inspirational for that.
Today's episode reminded me a bit of Smallville, though not a particularly great episode. It had some nice interactions between Cat and Kara though.
