Right now DC has no plans of having the movie universe and TV universe interact. The plus side of this though it does give more freedom to the writers, however DC still likes to put restrictions on which characters the TV crews can use. That could potentially kill DC's TV universe. Durng the Nolan Batman trilogy DC restricted the use of Scarecrow (who was an excessively minor character not even resembling the original) in all currently running DC animated series. Of course, with the current separation of movie/tv universes it can easily be explained as occurring in a different universe. We still need a less campy live action Batman show however. The crossover episode was superb. Benoist as Supergirl just gets better each episode. No, it was not. It was absolutely horrid throughout with the dialogue and especially the villain costumes. Yes, I know Silver Banshee had a comics appropriate outfit, but it was excessively jarring (not to mention the robotic portrayal throughout). Let's not forget that they hand waved the public's dislike of Supergirl at the end, and naturally the villains are too scared of the mundane public that they neglect finishing the job of killing anyone. Hell, the firs thing they should have done the moment Supergirl showed up was kill Kat, but noooo let's ignore that to kill the Kryptonian first because reasons!
