jesus fuck, missandei Sansa is still insanely, otherworldly attractive. And written to be increasingly unlikeable. While cheap, it had better fucking lead to it just being a bait & switch where they tease Littlefinger turning her against Jon and at the critical moment where it seems like she'll do something stupid to screw everything up according to Baelish's plans, she'll instead go "yeah fuck no I ain't doing that" and Arya appears to stab Littlefinger through the dick. "Did I ever tell you, Jon, how much I always wanted to fuck your adoptive mother? Oh btw I want to fuck your little sister now too ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" Just how did you see this playing out in your head, Petyr? Did you imagine Jon's Targaryen blood would take over and he'd be all "yeah bro I know, she's super hot! I totally want to fuck my sister too!" and you'd exchange high fives? That's the second episode in a row where a not insignificant amount of time is spent showing in excruciatingly loving detail some really disgusting shit, the bedpan montage from ep 1 and now Jorah oozing with pus as Sam carves his greyscale warts off. Someone putting this together has got some issues. Nice to see Billy Bones got another gig as a Tarly. Hopefully more people from Black Sails start showing up in other major shows and movies now, some tremendous actors there. Was a bit out of left field how Dany started giving Varys shit. I mean, it does make sense to have that scene at some point, but now? In season 7? Seems like something they would've sorted out long, long ago. Olenna is giving some 10/10 shit advice that could end poorly. She seems to be in zero fucks given mode and just wants the world to burn now that she's lost everything she cared about. I actually liked how Theon basically reverted back to Reek once shit got real. If anything, he's seemed almost too well-adjusted and back to relative normalcy up until then. Littlefinger seems to have no hint of a "master plan" at this point. He just hangs around to be creepy. As for the Grayscale bit and all that. The show seems to rely a LOT on shock value and stuff like that. It has been a thing since season 5 started, really. They used Joffrey for it earlier. As soon as he died, Ramsey took over. then they had Stannis do that moronic thing with his daughter. I am guessing Euron and Cersei will be their "Jigsaw" for the remanding seasons. Billy Bones showing up was kind of cool. But I think the character will be very small + he arrived too late to the party. As for that thing with Varys. Yes it happened way too late. Dany should have executed the fellow on sight when he showed up in season 5. The guy sent assassins to kill her. Jorah pretty much only "told on her" to King Robert, and he got exiled for it. Varys tries to kill her? Ohh come on right in and join us. I will think about it for 2 years and see what I will do. The Olenna bit was some feminism the writers added. They did the same with Dorne, when they had Ellaria take over the whole kingdom down there. They even said it was to boost "strong female characters" in mainstream media. In this case, the Olenna advice will turn out to be a good one. Since the plan Tyrion cocked up has already failed. Euron messed up half of that plan when he attacked the ships. Theon chickening out was cool. I liked that bit too. It makes sense that he hasn't healed from the damage Ramsey did to him. I suspect he will end up in King's Landing and run into Gendry or something like that.
