The official reason for how Rey all of a sudden got massive Force training out of the blue is this: It seeped over from Kylo, via their connection.......The force now works as Bluetooth......Fantastic writing. I know, it's pretty bad. Tough luck for the Jedi who never figured this out, huh? All of those years of training gone in an instant. I feel sorry for the writers who had to come up with a reason for this to do damage-control for Rian Johnson. Makes you wonder why Yoda couldn't do this for Luke in episode 5. Or Luke absorbing Vader's skills when they "skyped" in episode 5 as well. And Rey even beat Kylo at force stuff before she bluetoothed in his knowledge. Beat him twice at it in ep 7, after all. |
