It's only human to stick around places where you're showered with nearly unconditional praise and Reddit is circlejerking exactly around that.
Doesn't mean however that aren't being a dick to your own fanbase if you abandon your own damn forum. I mean, what's the point of having one then?

It is also nice to have someone else do the moderating because if I moderate something then it is "censorship".

Also note, for this project I was asked to watch reddit a bit around launch, so that is where I "set up shop" for this project. Like BSN was where I was for ME3.

Imma go ahead and say that this proooobably wasn't Brojo's idea. I've seen him around recently interacting with folks, namely in that toggle thread (as unfortunate as that night be).

To be honest, if he's the real deal, then trying to dispel misinterpretations in here is pretty much wasted energy. A drop on a hot stone.

Misinterpretations happen because context is missing. And right now, the context that's missing is basically the whole community management. If anything, I'd rather want any BioWare folk knock up the door for whoever is in charge for the community. Anyone who comes out is just inevitably singling himself out to take the storm and the emotional heatwave has not yet passed. Hell, even I'm still bitter as fuck and it shows.

What we need now is community management working overtime, not other individuals coming out just to get a bloody nose and get frustrated themselves. Before we talk to each other, we need a somewhat healthy discourse environment and providing that one isn't Mr. Johnson's job (regardless of whether the user here is him or not, that is).

You are now changing the topic of what you posted. Your initial post was more of an attack on the choices I (as an individual make). 

Here is the thing about forum moderation when it is being done by a company that is also the one who is putting out a product. No one trusts the corporation, and those that do post "positively" are called drones and pushed out. Do you ban those people who are being hostile towards people? If that is the case then your initial post could seen as hostile towards those that like reddit. You know what else regardless of how people are banned they are going to raise such a stink about things that people are going to call it censorship. I dont know if you follow League of Legends at all, but the amount of times people have come and complained that they were banned unfairly and then raise a large amount of backing from the community of "WTF Riot". Then someone at Riots posts proof of their behavior, and people say "owned" and that is the end of it. Then a week later the cycle repeats. 

Also to address your initial point, not every employee agrees with every decision that is made within a company. If you do know of one, where there is more than 1 person working there, please let me know I am interested.

There has been a few times where I have said, I can not answer a question because I either a) Cant because it would go against an NDA or I simply don't have the information to answer it. Then get personally called out for being a corporate whore. Yup that is where I want to spend my free time.
