Well, that's RIP for BioWare games for me I presume. Because I sure as hell won't go to Reddit, Tumblr or what not in order to find out out any upcoming BioWare is like given the inherently polarizing nature of how those forums are structured. And since I don't intend to buy BioWare games on trust alone, without an outlet to get a somewhat comprehensive quality feedback from ... BioWare just put the last nail in the coffin ... theirs. It's now officially on my list of killed-off studios. Goodbye BioWare, I would've missed your old self. Current one is good riddance. Damn, yo. Well personally I will not give them that pleasure. I read about their decision today on the BSN forums for DAI, and I can honestly say that I do not understand their decision? Even less so their suggestion of for instance Twitter and Facebook? To me those two places do not lend themselves to discuss games like can be done on the BSN forums. I'm certain that is the intent. They don't want a discussion, they want an echo chamber. Agreed. I feel like Bioware (or EA) decided a community just wasn't worth it, especially since they couldn't control it. As positive as an experience it could be for connecting with others to share the experience of their games (as it was for me), it seemed to amplify the expectations of its members that made demands. What's the point of maintaining something that acts against you?
