Fair warning that I
will dig this up
if when I'm right.
This my 2nd time writing this post as it got deleted by mistake so pardon my bluntness and speed at which I rewrite this.
I was wrong about Hillary winning when she had a 70% chance of victory.
I could be wrong here too.
All I am saying is, you need to prove why this will happen to make a case. The smelling hair thing didn't register to rank and file Democrats at all.
So I don't think much will stick to him this time. Like I recall a point you made I never got to chance to reply to, you were saying that Biden and the other Biden types running will split their votes apart leaving Bernie a chance to win. But I disagree, all Biden type voters will just vote for Biden. Put it this way, he is going to throw his hat in this week, this means he'll probably win South Carolina and Harris needs just that one state to even have a chance at the nom. This pretty much means him running is taking her out right away unless something big happens to either hurt him or boost her that will change the minds of those deciding between the two. And him getting hurt is the harder of the two options here.
He also has support from party leaders there and in other important states to win the primary, and the general for that matter, so chances are not good for all the Biden types running.
Democrats want to really win this time and they see him as their best shot as much as you disagree, Over in the general he'll win all the states Hillary won and then most likely some more. He does not have decades of people making millions off of smear attacks like Hillary had, he has 8 as the most popular politician this country has.
So I really don't see this being a repeat of his past runs as much as the online commentators want it to be.
I also really hope he picks Pete as his VP but that's wishful thinking on my part and politics is story building a lot of the time. I just reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy want to see a gay Christian beat the shit of Pence in a debate. Also so Pete could run in the next 4 to 8 years. Would also be fitting for Biden to help pave the way there since he got Obama to finally be the first president say gay marriage is cool.
