As for what'd been described. Barabara's character has been ruined since the New 52 took her out of the wheelchair. I don't really care about her anymore at this point.

When Barbara became Oracle, she had the chance to get her legs back, as Batman had been able to do the same after Bane broke his back.

Barbara refused, as this technology wasn't available to the public. Which speaks volumes about her as a character.

Come the New 52, where she still got paralyzed. But went through with the procedure anyway because fuck you.
And then Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown had to wait YEARS to come back.

I know that paralysis hasn't been cured in the New 52 Universe because the Awful Supergirl hooked up with a guy in a wheelchair. So now Babs is less of a character, a bad one.
It's the DC Equivalent of Spider-Man selling his Marriage to Mephisto. Just something that makes me think less of the character.
