It starts getting good once all of its ensembled casts are together. The relationship and interactions between them are the driving force of the show.

Have an AMV I think you will appreciate when you get up to a certain episode.

So nearly done with Bates Motel and next is Hannibal.

Like I really need that show if everything the Princess says is true.

I guess I'm bored with Bates even though it's actually really good and the acting is stellar because I've seen this shit before.

Checks all the marks for a great drama, but it's missing that flavour stuff like Breaking Bad had, plus the side plots detract from the real drama and adds nothing thematically. Their only positive is that they allow Norman's descent into madness a slow and gradual process.

Good points about it though that it does really give you a horrible feeling of warm sticky sickness, claustrophobia with a tinge of nausea when Norma and Norman Bates are in the same scene together, it's like you're in a stuffy room with no water and the only thing besides you is a basket of dirty laundry. Those two people are genuinely talented and I can't wait to see them in other roles.

Never thought a series with great writing could evoke such a 'nothing' feeling from me.

It's that and oh so much more.

It is trippy.

Most of all in later episodes.

It's for sure trippy in ways that will turn your mind on a lot.

So I have like 7 episodes left for Three Kingdoms 2010, a 95 episode series that's taken me a year to go through but not through its own shortcomings but my own laziness and then my mum's interest in the show which had me delay my viewing for a few months until I got back from uni. I think I will burst out into tears in the final episode since the slow trickle of viewing has made me kind of intimate with the series in a strange sort of way.



Gonna miss this bitchin' track.

Might even watch it again tbh.

Hannibal is coming very soon and I think I'm gonna skip out on anime a while longer and watch all 5 seasons of Samurai Jack.

Hannibal is soooo good.

They played the Phantom Troupe theme which is a bonus and could talk all day about how awesome the cinematography is.

Finished Archer season 7. Great show. I liked better when they were working as special agents, though.
