That would be fine if they did state their reasons. But as a channel that values narrative I got to wonder why. Stupid question, but you have played FO1 and 2, no? What makes you think FO3 is the better FO game? I have played FO1 and 2 but never beaten them. Brilliant games, though. Easily the best fallout games. As for Fallout 3. I just think it is a better fallout game than NV. NV had too much stuff intact. Something about how it looked didn't make me thing Fallout. I thought the Legion was rather silly too. Ancient roman armours etc. Where did they get the skills to make that? NV has way better RP options, though. And probably more replay value but it was a spin off and it felt like a spin off. Fallout always felt to me like the rebuilding of society rather than a society in the midsts of collapse. That's why you have stuff like New Reno, Broken Hills, and the NCR in FO2, not to mention the Hub in FO1. These settlements are what drew the line between the post-apocalyptic setting of... let's say... The Road, to that of Fallout's. So FO3 really didn't feel like a callback to the classics because of that. But then again, it did address this with DC being the worst of the areas to be hit by the bombs, just like NV addressed its own relatively untouched landscapes with the bombs not landing there. Bethesda also had some lore issues, but they did make the right call by having it set in the east of the states, far away from the developments in the west. As for the Legion. I guess to me that was a non-issue. Their aesthetic was mostly symbolic anyway. I mean, it's a place that can make laser guns and robots, making look-alike Roman gear shouldn't be all that difficult with a bit of disbelief in your part. At least I can agree that the RP options are so much better in FO:NV. It's mostly why I enjoy it more. The writing being miles ahead helps too. lol @ Liam Neeson being ' very disappoint' by your genocide.
