The problem is that she isn't the smartest or most interesting person in the world. She likes talking to me about things that I really think are insignificant and meaningless. I have no opinion on these things because I don't have any interest in them, never have. She's so nice to me, and I've never had that so I'm willing to make the change to hang on to it. I can work with nice. So my question is how do I get more interested in girly things like facebook, twitter, what other people are doing, what someone said about whoever, rumors, etc. Also, how do I stop getting frustrated about being asked the same question multiple times (ie: why do you love me, what would you do if we broke up) and being told I'm the one who never listens? How do I become more superficial and into things like that?

How do I become more superficial and into things like that? I think your problem is, if you aren't having fun on facebook or twitter, you aren't using them right. You need to learn how to use social media platforms in a way that's fun for you. Try taking a look at a few videos on this guy's youtube channel. He offers great free lessons on how to make the most of social media.

I've never had to deal with GFs not "letting" me do most of the stuff on that list. Maybe not strip clubs, but it's not like I visit those anyway. If she makes you feel like you've got an anchor tied to you, then she isn't the right girl for you.
