I just hope Disney doesn't decide to make this an on-going series, with plot threads that never conclude. Gah, who am I kidding... that decision has probably already been made I think the movies will wrap up their core-story but end by creating something like a status-quo or establish a new Galaxy to explore, storywise and politically and all that. For example the First Order is beaten back into the Outer Rim sectors and kept out of the Core Sectors, but not entirely wiped out. The Knights of Ren (or reformed Sith) will still be around somehow, and Rey/redeemed Kylo Ren will finish what Luke started, another Jedi Academy. So we'll have a galaxy that can grow from thereon, with room to breathe for new stories, new threats. There won't be this "everyone lived hapiily ever after"-thing in the end of part 9, I am sure... But another trilogy will surely pick up some hundred years after the last ones. And if any of those predictions come true I will begin my Jedi training immediately ^^
