I think the biggest failure for me is the fight between Batman and Superman, and then later the fight with Doomsday.
The fight between Batman and Superman was brainless. It was basically a slugfest interspersed with Kryptonite grenades so Superman could be hurt. There was little apparent strategizing or adaptation, and there weren't any interesting combat moves. Punch, punch, dive-punch, pause for drama.
The fight with Doomsday did not feel real. Wonder woman and Superman moved like video game models, barely getting scratched despite being blasted and flung around. I didn't even understand what Doomsday was blasting out of his eyes. Was that heat, kinetic energy, some combination? How was Wonder Woman even able to block those with wrist bands when their width was so wide? Seems like Zack made a much better decision in Man of Steel by simply having the supervillains move so fast your couldn't see them. At least the reactions of the humans they fought looked authentic, and gave the scenes some suspense and tension. In this fight Superman took hits straight to the face, and his hair was still perfectly in place and unsinged.
As a climax to this movie, these fights were just boring.
*Cough* I left out Batman's rescue fight of course, because that was the best Batman fight I've seen almost, well, ever.
