Why? All this political nonsense is just a distraction. If EA thought it would make more money, they'd staff BioWare with the neckbeardedest MRAs you've ever seen, and most of Mass Effect 4 would still be the same homogenized tripe. There would still be a townbuilding minigame that adds nothing to the core gameplay because Minecraft and Fallout 4 have town building and people love them. It would still be an overblown parody of a power fantasy like DA3 and Knights of the Fallen Empire in which your character is the specialest snowflake in the galaxy, and 30% of all character interaction in the game will be made up of accepting compliments from NPCs. There would still be an overabundance of boring fetch quests so that no one will complain about there not being enough content, rather than putting a noticeable amount of care and humanity into writing a handful of memorable sidequest like they did in Mass Effect 2, and there would still be micropayments for ingame resources because take that, entitled gamers.

So that they stand out in public and can be avoided...

I'd always argue that Bayonetta is the opposite -- Empowerment as opposed to being sexist.

Unless someone's plain attention whoring (gigoloing for attention?) and regards any form of directed reaction as validation.

Also, ridicule only works when the rest of the audience goes along instead of plunging headfirst into the same shallows. Ridicule is a social mechanism after all and if everyone's just calling you a white, male cisgendered shitlord who needs his priviliges checked, you're being the one ridiculed, regardless of whom's position is the (most) stupid one.


Then again, just ignoring stupid people is the way to disaster. Stupid comes around and is contagious on a social level and if unchecked, mindsets can and will propagate until acceptance is high enough that it overpowers any reasonable opposition: feminism, kekeke.
