Secondly, why would anyone take that and run with it as an argument for/against (really not sure which of those two) sexual discrimination?

I'm sure the people making the trailer (which one btw?) didn't think: hey, let's make the trailer but only with Fem!Shep so we can stick it to the patriarchy. More likely they thought: we're not getting paid enough to make two trailers just to have both male and female.

The devious part of me suggests the BioWare gal made that tweet specifically to increase the butthurt and applauds her (tip of the fedora), but then again such stuff would quite possibly violate some company rules about representation in the media or some such, so the rational part of me isn't convinced both parties aren't just equally stupid.
