I do agree, but unfortunately I'm still learning things and I haven't been able to toy around with them much yet. The things that I am in control of and am not in control of also appear to be quite limited, that said, if I do figure out a way to put a "next page" button at the bottom of the thread, I'll absolutely do it.

i'm proboards forum creator since 2008, so i pretty much have knowledge of how they work and all. i spend my time making forums each day for people. i mostly spend my time making themes for them as well, even for my forums. if you need help with your forums, let me know. i can lend my assistance and knowledge of these forums to you.

As far as custom backgrounds go, I did this with the Stylish add-on.

But as you can see, because I don't know what the hell I'm doing, the background also occupies the text box in preview mode.

Any CSS whiz know how to fix this, by any chance?

All I did was copy the style sheet that I got from inspecting the background and replace the background image. Buuut... without the custom style active, it's not like the normal background image resides in the text preview box. I don't get it.

What I'm getting from this is that the add-on applies the style to the html within the iframe, which is nonstandard behavior for css (hence the normal background style doesn't intrude into the iframe) but the browser can't tell the difference using the add-on. And I don't think there's a way around that since the iframe isn't drawing from an external site and I'm using chrome.

Doesn't affect the bbcode editor because it doesn't use iframe.

And I don't know why I'm wasting so much time trying to figure this out lol.

I'm uncertain how to do that, but out of curiosity what theme are you using? It'll look different depending on the theme.

Any ability to have the in-page reply function have the UI of the full reply page?

It's not too big an issue for me, I've learned most of the differences in the BBCode for the usual things I use, but it might speed things up.

One thing I noticed that's nagging me: the site used to snap right onto the post when you say checked a notification, or went to the latest unread post on a thread. But now it just goes to the respective page. Likewise, when changed thread pages, it used to snap right back to the top, but now I have to manually scroll to get to the first new page post.

It's very recent, so my first guess is the advertisment (disabled Adblock+ for this website btw) is somewhat screwing with the usual site navigation.

Have you found a way around this? I'm in the same boat.
