The whole "bacon isn't good for you" is utter bullshit. Bit of a nutritionist myself, only cause I'm addicted to working out thus knowing what exactly goes in my body and how my body handles it is something I'm very passionate about. Bacon helps fill you up with the pure energy of fat while also providing you with a good level of protein, not to mention that shit's good as fuck, but it's also low as shit in carbohydrates which is the main thing that makes people fat. That being said, bacon can help you lose weight, boost your metabolism and help with the development of lean muscles. Bacon also confines something called choline which helps prevent brain and liver problems such as memory loss, Alzheimer's, depression, hepatitis, etc. You can also find omega-3s in bacon as well which is also found in fish, but without any mercury. Pair up some bacon with something rich in vitamin E (leafy greens or nuts mostly) and that can help prevent hair loss and even some eye diseases. Honestly, it has a lot more properties than the ones listed above.
And that shit goes good on just about every goddamn thing tbh. It can either be the star or just a component in a dish. This isn't really a response to the article though, just anyone who really thinks bacon isn't good for you. Educate yourself. It's not hard.
