It's not delusion, its science. Try taking a break from the "Everything sucks" attitude, might be healthier then you realize, and you might like it. I'm not worried about heart failure, not like it will matter anyway because by the time I'm that age they'll be grinding down old people into Soylent Green to feed the starving masses in the third-world hellhole society has descended into. Plus or minus a few years is meaningless really. My point is that positivity is unrelated to good things actually occurring. If it were so easy to switch mindsets we wouldn't be having this discussion. Can't really fool myself into such a mindset when experience suggests continued disappointment. Lol, damn bruh, some heavy stuff there. Just gonna ignore that first bit, cause I have no idea how I'm supposed to respond to that. The links I provided show that positivity DOES lead to good things. Namely, reduced stress. Which is great cause too much stress is unhealthy. That's not to mention the other great affects a more optimistic outlook gains you. Anyway, your last point is fair enough. Changing mindsets is difficult I would imagine. Like anything else worth doing. As for you experiencing continued disappointment, again, fair enough, you could have it way worse tho. Guess I'll leave it at that.
