Barry giving up his speed was stupid because we all know what would happen

Was there ever an actual Jay Garrick on earth 2?  The man in the iron mask is the only possibility for that to be true now

First, no mention of your trip to Supergirl's Earth? Like, at all? Are you serious? You just managed to jump from one Earth to another, I'd think that merits discussion. You can later argue you can't control it so we need Cisco's magical powers. Also, Barry seems to get dumber with each passing episode. So just because you're fast now you can take on Zoom? All he needs to do is capture one of your friends/allies and you'll meekly give up (which is what ends up happening). I love Harry's line here, "Oh, you're not going to let that happen? Gosh, I wish I'd known that the first time!" Ultimately, this is just dumb because it's forced to generate drama/suspense when we all know Barry's going to get his powers back. I only wish someone does bite the bullet so he'll be more careful the next time he suggests bringing a threat to his world without anything remotely resembling a sound plan.
