Barry was being a huge dick in general throughout the episode. As was Wally, acting like an angsty little bitch and blaming Joe when it's 100% on his mom that Joe didn't even know he existed. I also hope that wasn't a way to permanently write Patty off the show. If they're going to have a love interest for the main character (it's the CW, so they obviously will), I would greatly prefer for Patty to stick around instead of going back to the incestuous overtones of Barry's relationship with Iris. Isn't Wally West supposed to be a goofy, wise-cracking character? This version is a bit too angsty for my taste.
On a different note, the Legends of Tomorrow pilot was solid, if a bit cheesy.
I so loved the real reason why Rip chose them. It was so obvious and I'm glad they addressed it. |
