Whether it's painting a piece of furniture over a weekend , cracking down to study for three months to take a certification test or completing a year-long product implementation, I like working towards a goal. It's very rewarding and forces me to be disciplined with my time and effort (something I usually don't do that well without a looming deadline - even if that deadline is 18 months from now).
