Been encoding the Aria blu-rays but subtitles for "The Animation" and "The Natural" are a bit of a problem. The actual video is in 4:3 and the blu-rays have black bars on the sides. I'm cropping the black bars so that I don't waste space on them, but subtitles on blu-rays are technically pictures and they don't get cropped, so they're not centered anymore.

So I've started to convert them to a text format and while I'm at it I've decided to try to go for something similar to what the fansubs did in regards to coloring.

After half a day of messing about with a couple of subtitle editing apps, I feel like I'm finally close to something decent. And that I need to take a break.
