Done with Death of the Family and it is still one of my favorite Joker stories in comics for me.
The way it builds tension through the chapters; by utilizing Joker's horrifying humor, dialogue, artwork, and how it incorporates old stories to add new perspectives to strenghten aspects for both Joker and the Batman, makes for a very stellar read. My only major complaint though would be that Batman comes across as a bit too incompetent during this arc and his several face offs with Joker. While one could argue that he is letting his emotions get the best of him, it doesn't align that well with the overall story and his character, which makes it rather disjointed and serves more as an easy ticket for Joker to come on top until the climax. There is also an annoyance with having to read the tie in issues for the other characters to get the full scope of the story, but that's not what I bother with.
Gonna see whether I'll finish Batman completely or pick another comic alongside this one.
