This is the best scene ever, in my most favourite movie ever. I just love this movie to bits and this single scene where Cosmo tries to recruit his friend to bring down the whole system. Just such a brilliant scene and Ben Kingsley's character was supposed to be the bad guy. I am not so sure.. I doubt Hollwood would've gone for a movie where there hero redistributes the wealth of a bunch of rich bastards. Yeah, they don't give a shit about that. There's actually lots of movies like that. Why do people think Hollywood gives a shit about these political interests? They don't They have one criteria: Will it make us money? That's really the only thing they give a shit about. It's basically "lets make a movie about the wealth being taken from the rich and redistributed to the poor, so that the poor lazy slobs we know will never attempt to change the world anyways will give us (the rich) more of their money" I can promise you the amount of them who are worried someone is going to see these kind of movies and actually rise up and do something about it is pretty damn low. |
