Greetings, I was a bit hesitant to make this thread. But considering I was graciously allowed to post the TSG 24-hour stream thread, I figure it won't hurt if I annoy the mods here once more and spam another TSG initiative.

In recent times, TSG and BSNuf (cBSN, Bee Snuff, BSN unf, etc) have come together with a strong community spirit for a shared goal. TSG is a small, but very tight knit community and as a result, we like to do stuff together. As the name and the recent marathon suggests, we do enjoy playing games and Twitch Streaming as a community, but our activities extend beyond that. We also like to watch movies together and that's what I'm here to talk about today.

Top Shelf Gaming runs a weekly Movie Night near the end of each week. We get together for a few hours, watch a movie, have a nice chat and enjoy each other's company. Seems pretty simple, right? Here are the deets:

How do I participate?

It's pretty straightforward to join and participate in our TSG Movie Nights. Simply go here: www.cytu.be/register and register an account. It takes 2 minutes, and doesn't require an email address for verification. Then hop over to www.cytu.be/r/TopShelfGaming during our Movie Night events and you're off to the races! It's that simple. The channel might run certain videos or music on loop when Movie Nights aren't happening, so if you like 10 hour Vivaldi marathons and the like, it might be useful to keep open too.

So when is Movie Night?

TSG Movie Night will always start at 10PM UTC Friday Nights, so be prepared with popcorn and/or alcohol!

So who decides what Movie is shown?

TSG has a voting system for it's users to take part in during the week. I come up with a list of potential movies to watch, and the TSG picks what movie we all get to watch for Movie Night.

I do want to make one final note: the members on TSG come from a diverse set of backgrounds. Despite, or rather because of it, we are a community that loves to banter with one another. Oftentimes with very politically incorrect humour. This shouldn't dissuade you though. It's just a note. We are friendly, welcoming and open to newcomers, but not everyone will jive with our sense of humour. I like to think that most people here can, but I felt that it's a necessary note to add.

This will be our 7th consecutive Movie Night, and I've had 2 Movie Nights in a row now that haven't had catastrophic failure. So I think I'm getting the hang of it and streamlined the process.
