After having split the price with a friend.

The game reminds me a lot of Minecraft in it's beginnings.

Except Minecraft didn't have the gall to charge 60$ for it's bare bones game.

But it is a good amount of entertainment for a good 20 hours.

It's a game I'll want to play when a big patch comes out and actually adds things.

Well, if you don't have anything to do for the next 40 minutes...

It would seem people don't like being lied to.

Shocking truth!

It's a game that you'd pick up on steam for like £10 or less on a sale and they advertised it as a huge AAA thing.

Same but when on amazon it costs £55 and for that much I could instead buy Odin Sphere and Ratchet and Clank it's not going to happen.

Maybe the specifics of that particular issue will end up getting argued over in court, a la Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Or not.

But its always fun to see what actual legality makes of these things.

I half expect to look this game up and see that it was made by Peter Molyneux

OK I've now seen some interviews with the dude in the middle of that pic ans he comes across as either clueless about his own game or an out and out liar.

I also went to the reddit you guys mentioned. OK not a good look..

He even said playerc could meet other players in the game but they wouldn't be able to see each other. WTF? What's the fucking point of that?

Meh, I own NMS & I enjoy it. You get a Starship & can fly around space & explore planets & moons which is all I really wanted from the game.

The game will grow, more features will be added. This is hardly new, but people like to flip out.

Also, the list of missing features is slowly but surely being dismantled by people on NoMan'sHigh ( sub reddit I believe ).
