So my D&D group needs a new person victim, we use a custom 3.5e ruleset in an original setting. So the shit that the group has gotten into is as follows. Setting background
The Age of fire is the age of great change, great upheaval it is said at the end of the Age of Fire Helian itself will become unrecognisable.
The continent of Azalmar is one of Helian's most brutal continents, the weather can range from so cold it could freeze a fire to so hot water could catch fire, the beasts are brutal, dangerous and vicious in equal measure to Azalmar's weather. Due to the harshness of the landscape resources are rare which caused Azalmar to be caught in an eternal war as Kings would attempt to snatch land from one another. Eventually the people, tired of war rejected the idea of a monarchy and guilds rose to power.
With the guilds in control indentured service became the norm as most Azalmarians either served as servants or the more skilled 'agents' for a certain amount of years. A guild's honour and trustworthiness became more valuable than gold, while nearly all guilds will partake in less than respectable actions most will not not break their word or a contract. This means that becoming a contract-breaker is one of the worst things that an Azalmarian guild or person can be called, most contract-breakers are not even considered people and are either most likely killed or sent to "The End"
Azalmar's political system isn't the only thing that is unique. Azalmar is also known as the heretic continent to the rest of Azalmar as it worships "The Quadrant" the four "Gods" of elements which are not considered part of the divine pantheon. Conversely the Quadrant deems anyone that follows the other gods as demon worshippers and actively hunt them down via The Inquisition. Though with the guilds holding most of the power, many of the "demon worshippers" seek refuge from the Inquisition and are employed as agents.
Current events background
An orc army has descended upon the Faine Plains in Azalmar. The Faine Plains is home to the main trade route through Azalmar and supplies the rest of the continent with necessary supplies. You are an agent of the Aiers' Merchant's guild; working under the control of Laria. Whose meteoric rise to power at the simple age of 14 was unprecedented, unbelievable and downright scary.
Laria is currently organising efforts to repel the orc army with some of the "heroes" of the Drakenfort a group of fellow agents, who were a group of people that managed to hold the impenetrable fortress against an orc army 10 times their size with nothing but a skeleton crew.
It's held weekly on 10:30am UK time on a Sunday, for around 4 hours. You need to make most of them. It is not recommended for Americans or people in that timezone. You must tolerate Sim. A diplomatic character is preferable (sadly the last diplomatic character died from poison) You will see hairy dwarf balls. As of right now diplomacy and politicking is the primary focus. Previous experience is not needed. Don't interrupt me. I get annoyed. English speaking level must be higher than text speak. Don't make me have to chase you. I will just forget about you. And don't post "I'm not exactly sure, I'll think about it." I will get irritable. BE SURE GODFUCKING DAMNIT![/span]
