Is anyone reading it? I was on the verge of pre-ordering it considering the glowing reviews the play is getting but after reading a fair number of book reviews the consensus seems to be it's more like someone's bad fanfiction of what happened after Book 7. I'll admit I did spoiler myself a bit and agree with the sentiment that certain things that play out in the book don't make sense. I've seen spoilers for it in the BSN Prime forum closure thread and it sounds horrible. How time turners work has been retconned and Cedric Diggory was apparently a Death Eater. I can't wait and see if Stephen King will rip it apart publicly (he enjoys Harry Potter). Well, if you don't mind the spoilers... From what I've read one of Harry's sons, Albus, teams up with Lucius' son, Scorpius, to travel back in time and save Cedric because. In one timeline they achieve this by making him fail the Second Task though humiliating him at the same time. This causes Cedric to become a Death Eater and kill Neville what means he wasn't there to kill Nagini and now Voldemort has won. The part most fans seem to take issue with is how Cedric would not turn Death Eater over such a stupid thing. To be fair mischaracterization seems to be a running theme with Cursed Child like when they state Ron was drunk at his wedding, when Harry tells Albus he wishes he'd never been born, etc.
