Don't misunderstand, I am not bashing or mocking anyone who has caved. I understand, from a certain point of view.
I wasn't even upset about the RGB ending shit-storm. I was angry/disappointed by the philosophical 180 that Biower pulled around the time of ME3. They seemed (IMHO) to abandon the fans, the Biower troops. I was so relieved when I played KotOR, and Jade Empire & Mass Effect. These games renewed my faith in gaming, they showed what was possible when devs actually care about their product, they showed passion and integrity. They provided many hours of pleasure & (especially ME1) got me through tough times.

Cut to today, & Biower is just another corporate monolith, capable of budgeting their costs to the last dollar, compromising their final product when more profit is to be reaped & reducing their paying customers to a demographic. Yes, I understand that this is somewhat inevitable. Yes, I understand that it's just business, not personal. Yes, I understand that $$$ is ultimately the main goal/motivator for corporations. Yes, I realize that I actively support many other corporate behemoths with more ruthless agendas.

I just believed, for a small piece of time, that maybe Biower was different. What can I say, I was naive.

From BioWare I only really care about ME so since ME3 I didn't buy any game from them.

I never hat anything against Bioware, the games I have played or am playing at the moment are good to great. It is just that I do not understand their reasoning for their current decision?

To put it short and concise, here's what I thought

Did a ton of stuff well but cos BioWare don't know how to handle open spaces they spread their butter over way too much bread.

CDPR got into open world games and were like 'nah brah, we got this, fam'.

And shit did they do it right xD hahahah

Yes.

But then again, just depends if you're in the mood of BioWare Game 101.

Buy it on a Steam Sale, ain't gonna be responsible for you hating that 20 dollar game xD

Get it for 5 dollars.

I didn't have quite the reaction that most of you seem to have had with the ending, so, yeah, DAI wasn't too bad.

I'm still waiting for DRM-Free releases of anything post DAO.

No matter the price, if it's not DRM-Free I don't even look at it.

But if it's DRM-Free, I might even be tempted to buy ME3. Maybe. If it's like 5$ or so. Canadian dollars.
