John Rhys Meyers is an astounding actor, and vaulted King Henry VIII as one of my favourite characters of all time, and one of the best written characters I've had the pleasure of seeing in any medium so far.

How can a show make me fall in love with a cruel, vile, despicable human being? By doing exactly that. Making him human.

Ah would talk forever about this show's goods and bads, but I'm tired.

All I'll say is if you like historical dramas then I think you'd be damn hard pressed to find better than this.
