Chessus! Well, they're certainly not afraid of showing it. Or any of it. Seems like we see half the deaths there. Not gonna jump on the 'it looks too CG' or 'you see it too often' bandwagon for the xenomorph. We all know what the thing looks like at this point. I'm more scared of what I don't know... That... adolescent alien halfway in? I do not like that thing. Not a one! X) Promising. I still can't be bothered to watch Prometheus, just heard too much awful about it. A few warning signs in comparison to that here, but I'm hopeful for this one. The short had tension, and it looks like there might be a fair bit of action in there. Maybe it can satisfy both the Alien and Aliens advocates with any luck. Prometheus is OK, actually. A lot of the criticism it got was because people thought it was supposed to be a direct sequel to Alien (it never was intended to be). I think you might enjoy it. Mabbeh. A lot of my reasoning for avoiding it this long is it trying to origin the xenos. I've been happy running off of the comics origin for years now. And I'll probably stick with it regardless from the sound of it. :/ But I should watch it sometime, at least to say I have. |
