Really enjoyed my time with Drakensang back in da day. Need to play River of Time. I'd say PST, but every gamer worth his/her weight knows about it. So here's an odd one! The first two were great, three fucked up, but it's still a better open world RPG than most open world RPGs. First really is a classic, and original to boot. A Nameless Hero sent into a prison colony which mines special ore in order to help a losing war against the orcs? Pretty awesome setting. The prison colony is run by its own, you have to join a side in this complex society of murderers, thieves, and petty crooks. The currency is the ore that's mined since it's the only thing in abundance, and there are some great characters here and there. Still wouldn't call it an RPG under my definition of the term. But it's a good adventure game with fantastic RPG elements.
