Anyone who will still be in favor of remaining in EU after watching this video is a politically blind person.

My observation of the evolution of supposed liberals during this election who are still sure Trump is a disaster for Republicans and that the Republicans hate him and would never work with him to, say, repeal Obamacare, back out of all climate agreements and regulation, give massive tax cuts to the rich, put abortion rights back on the table, persecute immigrants and muslims, and on and on, and therefore through this logic support actually voting for Trump, tells me that either the stupid virus is indeed contagious or these were closet Trump fans or Trump trolls all along. Those plus the ones who think that him doing all those things is actually better than what Hillary would do, which while I sympathize with people not having any love for her track record, seems to show a loss of perspective for anyone who thinks themselves liberal.

Oh right, this is the Brexit thread... derailing my own thread. But maybe this demonstrates what I mean about the apparent similarity between asinine logic of (converted) Trump supporters and exit supporters.

What struck me is people saying they're against leaving but voting in favor of it anyway to show their disapproval of the EU. That seems pretty similar to some people who are against everything Trump stands for but want to make a protest vote against Hillary by voting for him. Green I could at least understand.

He could be making everything up but that's a gamble only stupid people would take also.

Is it? Last I checked polls were split about which side is favored.

And our election and the general sense I get of current European politics makes me loath to underestimate the turnout for right wing nationalist causes...
