The character in my avatar is Hashida Suzuha from Steins;Gate which is a Visual Novel/Anime and this particular picture is from a scene at the end of the story during it's 'True Ending' route. In a nutshell Suzuha is a time traveller which is a big theme of the story and is from a dystopian future where apparently the whole world is engulfed in the fires of war over time travelling technology being a key factor, she convinces Okabe/Kyouma aka the protagonist to actually travel back in time with her in order to set things right which they do...eventually. Why is that my avatar? Simply because it's one of my favourite scenes and had me glued to the screen whilst playing it and kept me in suspense throughout the whole ending sequence, Suzuha is also a character that goes through a lot during the story or I should be more specific her alternate timeline version does; Amane Suzuha and was rooting for her to eventually succeed in her mission and get a happy ending.
