Not that I fully expect BW to tell us if it's been canned (can't quite remember if they fully told us if the Exalted March was cancelled or if we just found out later off chance) but yeah taking that with a massive grain of salt cause who the fuck are they. Haven't researched it myself but saw in passing they potentially said that DA4 is definitely being worked on (I'll look it up eventually to confirm, lazy right now) so yeah while communication hasn't ever really been BW's strong point, if Gaider did tell us then (I know articles later talked about it) about EM not being a thing, fairly safe to say they'll tell us here too.

Looks like this is going to be the first BioWare AAA game without a single SP DLC in a loooooong time.

That surprises me a bit I admit. Even though he game sold rather poorly compared to previous BioWare games, this is looking more and more like BioWare (or perhaps more likely EA) is dropping ME:A like a sack of unwanted kittens to minimize longterm exposure of what they no doubt consider a commercial flop.
Can't help but wonder what that means for the imminent future of the ME franchise considering ME:A was supposed to be the start of another series of games much like the original Shepard trilogy. With how it stands now, I don't see that happening ...

Guess EA is going to put most of their work into Anthem as their primary BioWare milkcow, with perhaps a dash of Dragon Age on the side to keep the singleplayers happy.

It is ok to love a shit game. Also ok to be honest about it.

I kinda look forward to seeing how poor it actually is some time after I finish the Witcher 3 and all the patches come out. I can't help being curious. That will be a while though.
