I don't agree. In Sydney for example they have injecting rooms where people can come in and inject their drugs and shit in a safe comfy environment. Oh and those nice social engineers now want drug consumption rooms added to the mix. Doesn't this say "it's ok take your drugs and stay addicted?" Shouldn't we be trying to get people off drugs? It's not dealing with the issue of drugs. It's trying to decrease HIV/AIDS. And drug consumption rooms are to stop overdose's so they don't clog up the health system. It's hard to stop an addict, they have to do it themself so the best thing to do is make sure they don't increase the amount of people with HIV/AIDS or have them clog up the health system. Kinda smart. I guess so. It's a tough issue no doubt. But why isn't detoxing or such part of any strategy to deal with this?
