Why do we want to keep our system the shite that it is? Corruption. There's a lot of money to be made in screwing people over for the stuff they literally need to survive.

Fuck yeah, I'm sick of those damn right wingers telling me that Sanders can't give me free healthcare, free college, and a pony. That's just what the corporations want me to think, man!

I'm not sure about the whole world going left, but with what the right-wing has been reduced to of late (a phallus-measuring contest of who is the most hardline and anti-compromise with views moving farther and farther away from the mainstream), I'm not convinced anything of value is lost by showing them the door, not even for the sake of "balancing" -- at this point, a Socialist candidate for President looks appealing for the sake of balancing out hard-right influence in the country).

Yeah, I'm all in favor of Left and Center coming to the forefront of politics, Right being phased out until/unless they get their priorities right.
