But what happens when China becomes too expensive for the west to exploit? I think India or Africa will probably be the next place to get cheap slave labour to make the Western world's goods, after all why would Western corporations bother to make their own goods in their own countries when it's far cheaper to exploit another nation with lower wages. Discuss. China already is becoming too expensive for the west to expoit, and western corporations are beginning to shift their manufacturing operations to Southeast Asia. By the time Southeast Asia has become too expensive for the West to exploit, I imagine that robotics will have rendered remote labor obsolete.
